Gotta Start Somewhere!

Alright, when it comes down to it, most of us would like to earn some more income and/or get our income with considerably less effort than traditional work. Unless you have a wealthy family or randomly rich relative/friend/significant other, you will probably have to start out with basically nothing. Most loan businesses, banks, and credit companies won't give much money to someone without collateral (house, car, fancy diamond necklace, etc) or at least an immaculate credit history so we'll have to consider easy funding to not be an option for the time being. Admittedly, there are occasions in which federal or private grants can be used to fund start-up businesses, but those are hard to find and harder to get. I'll address that at a later date.

One of the easiest options, though not always reliable, is the internet. Most of us are on this site, including myself, to use sources like Googles Adsense to make a little extra cash.

Important Links

The top two are sites that you can use through hubpages to get paid. The hubpages link I put as a redundancy, you are already here and should be able to find their mainpage without help. There are other blogging sites like hubpages to use, and other affiliate programs, just do some searches to find others after you get these working. I also included some more links near the bottom to other websites similar to help you start your search. My search criteria was "other websites like hubpages", in the event you aren't satisfied with this many, now you know how to find more. I would start by making a personal webpage of some sort. There are many free webhosting sites (again search and find the one you like the best), but I'd advise coughing up the $5-$15 per month and getting one that won't have someone elses links taking up space. With any luck you'll be able to use your affiliate program to pay for your site and more. After you get at least a basic website up (nearly all hosting pages offer software or templates to make a simple site) sign up for Google and Amazon, then make a hubpages account and follow their instructions to apply your affiliate accounts to hubpages.

If you are unsure as to what to make your personal page about, try something local, even just your city in general. It makes for an easy way to generate interest in your site through word of mouth.

Google pays per click or per thousand impressions. Amazon pays a percentage to you of what a customer bought from them, after using your link. You can visit their websites for more information on their payment policies.

Also, follow the instructions on Google and Amazon to apply their links to your personal website. Then start writing about things that interest you. Take the time to make it at least somewhat relavent to something, take a little more time to make the website/content look decent at least. As time progresses you'll get more experience, more/better content, more visitors, and therefore more money.

*An important side note*

Make sure to follow all policies from Google and Amazon, google especially is known for banning a person permanently from using their services due to policy violations.
